First day of Eid Al Adha on June 16, 2024, announces Saudi Arabia

Doha, Qatar: The new crescent of Dhul Hijjah was sighted in Saudi Arabia on Thursday night signalling that the last month of Islamic Hijri calendar will begin tomorrow on June 7.   

This is according to an announcement by the Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia today evening. 

The first day of Eid Al Adha will be marked on June 16, 2024, while the day of Arafat will be on Saturday, June 15, 2024.
