Situated in the heart of Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Jio World Plaza is yet to become India’s ultimate shopping destination. It boasts a wide array of services, including VIP concierge, wedding arrangements, porter services, and an extensive selection of luxury brands to cater to every desire.
Striking features
Spanning a massive 750,000 square feet, Jio World Plaza showcases 66 globally renowned brands. Among the premier brands featured in this grand opening are Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Burberry, Valentino, Dior, Balenciaga, Rolex, Bottega Veneta, Cartier, Bulgari, Jimmy Choo, and many more. Notably, Tiffany & Co, Versace, Bulgari, and Pottery Barn have opened their first stores in India within the mall.
Dior’s first menswear store will make its debut at Jio World Plaza, and the mall will house Louis Vuitton’s new flagship store, which is set to be India’s largest international luxury outlet. Additionally, the mall will host a pop-up store for Ed-A-Mamma, a children’s clothing brand by Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt
Several eminent fashion designers, including Manish Malhotra, Rahul Mishra, Falguni and Shane, and Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla, will also present their creations at Jio World Plaza.
Operating within Jio World Plaza comes at a premium, as Reliance Industries, the property owner, charges high rents. For instance, Louis Vuitton will pay a monthly rent of Rs 40.50 lakh for its property, while Dior will pay a significant Rs 21.56 lakh for a 3,317 sq ft space. Furthermore, luxury brands will share a portion of their monthly revenues with Reliance, as reported by Reuters, with contributions ranging from 4% to 12% of their total revenues.
Inauguration event
The grand inauguration began with a captivating fashion show titled “The New Order Of Style,” featuring eight models showcasing the latest trends. Participating designers included Manish Malhotra, Falguni Shane Peacock, Abu Jani Mishra, Satya Paul, Ri by Ritu Kumar, and celebrity appearances from Janhvi Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, and Sara Ali Khan, among others, representing their respective brands.
