Qatar prepare for home game against India at joint qualifiers

Qatar players take part in a training session to prepare for their last Group A match against India at the Asian Cup 2027 and FIFA World Cup 2026 joint qualifiers at Khalifa International Stadium yesterday. The game will be played at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium tomorrow.

The two-time Asian champions, who are leading the group with 13 points, have already advanced but India (5 points), Afghanistan (5) and Kuwait (4) all stand a chance to finish runners-up to reach the third round of the World Cup qualifiers as well as book their berth in the Asian Cup. Kuwait will host Afghanistan at Sabah Al Salem Stadium in their last group match, also to be played tomorrow.
